LJA Manuscript Instruction to Authors

Policy: The Lafia Journal of Arts is a publication of the Faculty of Arts, Federal University of Lafia. It is a peer-reviewed journal established to provide academics and researchers an outlet to publish the latest research findings in their chosen fields of studies. LJA reviewers are scholars selected by the editorial board to review a manuscript on the basis of their expertise in particular content area of their field. LJA accepts and publishes solicited and unsolicited articles twice yearly. It, therefore, invites high quality researched papers/articles, book reviews, and creative literary works in Arts, Humanities and other contributions to knowledge. LJA is self-sponsored; contributing authors will be expected to pay a token as may be decided by the editorial board.

Manuscripts: A well-researched and scholarly written paper/article prepared in MS Word with a double column in double space, typed in a 12 font size of Times New Roman, and not more than 5000 words inclusive of references, should be submitted electronically via our website, https://lja.com.ng, or email your paper as an attachment to lafiyajournalarts@fulafia.edu.ng, editor-in-chief@arts.fulafia.edu.ng, and copy aaabdullahi2010@gmail.com or adam.abdullahi@arts.fulafia.edu.ng. Such papers/articles must not have been published or simultaneously submitted for publication elsewhere. The papers/articles must also be in MLA 8th edition or APA 6th edition style sheet.

Plagiarism Policy

Manuscripts submitted to this journal will routinely be subjected to plagiarism screening. An acceptable percentage is under 10%. Authors should submit an anonymised version of their article as well as a separate title page that includes the title of their article, their names, email address, ORCID number, University affiliation, in that order.
